I became a Community Health Worker because, I, like many of the family and individuals I've helped, have experienced many barriers, many similar barriers, and I, too, felt very much alone and lost. And I just wanted to be a part of the solution, and remind them that they're not alone, and there are resources out there. And simply facilitate their abilities-- their ability to get those resources!And be a part of the solution and help people be happy.
